Hunting light geese during the Missouri 2013 Spring Light Goose Conservation Order. The trip started out in a bad way with a unexpected family death and then a vehicle breakdown 1000 miles from home. We endured these hardships and sought Redemption. We found it, bagging 178 geese in 5 days. Once again we had a great hunt with UpNorth Outdoors. Tracy Northup and his staff are excellent and I want to give special thanks to Tryg Koch, our guide that hunted with us all 5 days. Despite the rough beginning of the trip we had a blast.
Using milk bottles and frozen pigeons from a previous shoot for decoys, we set up the camo net and were away. with a kill count of 45 pigeons at the end of the day. Pigeon shooting is awesome. I get alot more excitement out of pigeon shooting rather than duck shooting in my opinion.
