Geoff Garrod is calling on his years of experience and guiding youngster Charlie Tebbit through a day in the hide at the pigeons. Charlie’s just 13, but he knows how to handle his Browning shotgun, and, after quickly downing his first bird, is keen to prove to Geoff – and the Shooting Show’s viewers – that his first shot was no fluke. Despite his mentoring role, Geoff can’t resist as the pigeons fly in, and shows Charlie the skills he will learn with more practice.

Pigeon decoying over stubble with the Mossberg 600, Browning Maxus and the Browning B525. We had a great day ending with 37 Woodpigeons, 5 Feral Pigeons and a Carrion Crow, so 43 birds shot in total.

Illinois Goose hunt with Big Sean and best friend Jeff Glaser. This was a fun 2 days of goose hunting in Northern Illinois with our good friends and some young guns just getting started in the game. We had honkers in the Avian X decoys all day! Landing lots of birds and just walking them out. Waiting for the best shot on film and trying to get good, easy shots for the boys. Jordan from Marsh Outdoors filmed the whole hunt and got to kill a bonus Quill lakes honker at the end of day 2. Take the young kids hunting anytime you can! Keep them off the streets!
